
Preheat the oven to 180 C / 350 F. Grease a cake tin.
Take a mixing bowl. Add butter. Remember to use room temperature butter. Beat it using a hand mixer or a hand whisk. You have to beat it till it gets light in color and it looks creamy.
Now add powdered sugar. If you don’t have powdered sugar, then simply add the regular granulated sugar into a blender jar and blend till you get a fine powder. Measure this and use. You don’t have to add the entire amount of powdered sugar all at once. Add some amount of it. Beat it. Again add a small amount of sugar. Beat. Repeat this process.
Now add mashed banana. Mix well.
Add milk and vanilla essence. Mix
In a separate bowl, put a sieve. Add maida (all purpose flour), cocoa powder, baking soda and baking powder. Sieve it nicely.
Add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients. Just like sugar, you don’t have to add the entire amount of dry ingredients at once. Add a small amount of dry ingredients. Mix with the help of a spatula. Again add a small amount of dry ingredients. Mix with the help of a spatula. Repeat till you get a smooth cake batter.
