 Atta cake (Wheat Cake) - A healthy version of a regular cake . Made with atta (wheat flour) , this is one perfect healthy dessert recipe.

Ingredients

  • ½ Cup atta Wheat Flour
  • ¼ Cup Milk
  • ½ Cup Sugar (Both granulated and powdered would work well for this recipe)
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ Cup Oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180° C. For this, select 10 minutes as the time and 180 °C / 350 F as the temperature. Rotate the start button. 

  2. Grease a small (6 inch or 7 inch) cake tin.

  3. In a bowl, add oil and sugar. Mix well.
  4. Put a sieve and add atta (wheat flour), baking powder and baking soda. 

  5. Mix nicely.

  6. Add milk and mix till it forms a smooth batter.
  7. Pour the cake batter into the cake mould.
  8. Bake for 30 minutes at 180 °C / 350 F

  9. Instant atta (Wheat Flour) cake is ready.
