Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Maida (All purpose flour)
  • 1/2 Cup Milk powder
  • 1/2 Cup Butter (At Room Temperature)
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar (Powdered)
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Essence
  • 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/2 Cup Milk
  • 1/4 Cup Tutti Frutti
  • 2 Tablespooms Chopped dry fruits

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven at 180 C / 350 F for 10 minutes. 

  2. Add room temperature butter and powdered sugar in a mixing bowl. Beat for 2-3 minutes or till you get a light and creamy mixture.

  3. Add milk. Mix well.

  4. Add vanilla essence and milk powder. Mix nicely.

  5. In a separate bowl, put a sieve. Sieve maida and baking powder. Add tutti frutti and chopped dry fruits (optional) into the dry ingredients mixture. Mix with the help of a spatula. This is done to prevent tutti frutti and dry fruits from sinking to the bottom of the cake while baking.

  6. Mix dry ingredients with the wet ingredients. Don’t over-mix the muffin batter.

  7. Add the muffin batter into a lined muffin tin. Fill only till 3/4th part of the muffin cavity. You can also add some chopped dry fruits and tutti frutti on top of the muffin batter for decoration.

  8. Bake the muffins in a preheated oven at 180 degree centigrade for 15-20 minutes or till a toothpick inserted into the center of the muffin comes out clean.
