
There are times when we want to eat something tasty and delicious but we do not have time to cook a lengthy dish.
We want to eat something similar to our most loved home cooked food or comfort food. But, the lack of time stops us from cooking any difficult or tine consuming recipe.
One of the best solutions for these times is to prepare a sandwich.
Sandwiches are the easiest snack/breakfast. They require very little preparation time and they also get cooked in a short span of time. If you want to make them healthier, you can opt for a brown bread or a multigrain bread.
Sandwiches can be prepared in a variety of ways. Some of the common and popular choices are veg sandwich, chicken sandwich, paneer (cottage cheese sandwich), egg sandwich, cheese sandwich, etc.
All of them are loved by most of the people, especially kids.
Sandwiches prepare well with a glass of fresh juice or may be a glass of chilled coffee. These combos work well for breakfast as well as after school snacks.

- 4 Bread Slices
- 2 Tablespoons Mayonnaise
- 1 Tablespoon very finely chopped capsicum
- 1 Tablespoon very finely chopped tomato
- 1 Tablespoon very finely chopped carrot
- 1/2 teaspoon Chili Flakes
- Salt to taste

Preheat the oven to 200-degree centigrade.

In a small bowl, add mayonnaise, capsicum, tomato, and carrot.

Now add salt and chilli flakes (If you don't have chili flakes, you can add red pepper powder or black pepper powder)

Mix this properly.

Take a bread slice. Spread this mixture nicely on it.

Put a cheese slice on the top.

Cover it with the second bread slice and press it a little bit.

Now grill the sandwich. Grill it for 5 minutes at 200 degree centigrade on one side. Then turn it and again grill it for 5 minutes at 200 degree centigrade. OR cook it on a tawa / pan on the stove. Heat the pan. On a low flame, cook the sandwich for 2 minutes. Flip it and again cook it for 2 minutes.
