But there are some classic pasta recipes. And these are those which all of us should try, at least once.
One such classic pasta recipe is white sauce pasta recipe.
This recipe basically consists of pasta cooked in a creamy white sauce.
You can add some veggies like capsicum, mushrooms, sweet corn etc. for enhancing the flavour of the recipe.
The base sauce is quite easy to make. It’s made using butter, all purpose flour, milk, some grated cheese, salt and pepper etc.

Some white sauce pasta recipes consist of cream as an ingredient but I haven’t added cream in this recipe. The combination if butter, all purpose flour, milk and grated cheese gives this white sauce pasta recipe its creamy texture.
Regarding the veggies, I have added chopped capsicum, mushrooms and sweet corn. If you want you can also add olives in this recipe.
Just remember that the base sauce is the most important part of this recipe. Therefore, add all the ingredients, don’t avoid any ingredient and follow the instructions properly.
How to cook the white sauce/ Dominos Alfredo Sauce?
Firstly, we will take a deep bottomed pan/wok. Add butter. Keep the flame low. Now slowly add all purpose flour . Remember – Add the all purpose flour. Saute it and let it cook. You will see that the all purpose flour would change its color a little bit. Now add milk in batches and keep stirring so that no lumps are formed.
Cook this for 30 seconds. Now we will add grated cheese. I have used mozzarella cheese. Mix nicely and cook for another 30 seconds.
Now we will add salt, pepper and Italian seasoning. Mix well. The sauce at this stage should be thick and creamy. If your sauce is runny or not creamy, then either add more grated cheese or try this – In a small bowl, add a teaspoon of cornflour. Add 2-4 tablespoon of milk. Mix well. Now add this cornstarch slurry to the pasta. Mix and let this cook for a minute. The sauce will get thick and creamier. This is the basic white sauce recipe.
This pasta can be prepared as an evening/tea time snack. Serve this white sauce pasta along with chilled strawberry milkshake or a yummy kit kat milkshake to your kids. Or you can even prepare this for a house party or a birthday party.
This pasta gets prepared really quickly. You don’t have to make a lot of preparations for this pasta recipe. All you need is half an hour to cook this yummy white sauce pasta.
